Under 12s
My name is Darren McKenna and I am an FA Level 1 qualified coach. I have been coaching the under 12’s since they were the new intake at under 7’s. Our numbers have grown from 20 to 30 so we currently have two teams at under 12’s, the Rockets are coached & managed by Robin Middleton and St.John Scrivens, I Myself along with Darren Ellis are involved with the Comets.
The two teams are structured in a way to allow the more able players to develop alongside similar ability players, this team currently plays in division 1 of the league, but our philosophy is to include as many players as possible in match day squads at some point. Thus providing a football for all attitude to youth football, and to this end we also have a team currently playing in division 2 of the league.
We play our home matches on Saturday mornings at Friends Provident, Clyst St. Mary and train at St.Lukes High School in Exeter on Thursdays 6pm to 7:45pm.
